As darkness fell, aerial firefighting operations were suspended, while crews continued their efforts on the ground. The nighttime response involves 110 fire engines and water tankers, 4 pieces of heavy machinery, and 610 technical personnel and firefighters.
The fire, which began in the Karaöz neighborhood, was reported to have spread toward Yeşilkaraman due to strong winds. Crews are working to prevent the flames from reaching residential areas, while precautionary evacuations have been carried out in locations considered at risk.
Gendarmerie and police teams have also restricted access to areas considered dangerous.
According to the latest confirmed updates, there has been no announcement that the fire has been brought under control. Firefighting efforts are continuing throughout the night.
