The incident occurred at a hotel pier in Konaklı. Erman was seriously injured after diving headfirst into the sea.
Emergency medical teams were dispatched to the scene following the incident. After receiving first aid, Erman was taken by ambulance to hospital, where he died despite doctors’ efforts.
The incident was reportedly captured by the hotel’s security cameras, and an investigation was launched.
