Uğur Sipahioğlu, who ranked third on Antalya’s income tax list for the 2025 tax year, took the top spot amongst the taxpayers whose names were disclosed, with an assessed tax liability of 80 million 635 thousand 389 lira. The names of the taxpayers in the top two positions on the list published by the Antalya Revenue Office were not disclosed.
Sipahioğlu, a tourism entrepreneur and owner of the Lonicera Hotel in Alanya, reportedly opened his hotel free of charge to hundreds of earthquake victims for months during the disaster, according to information in the source.
Four taxpayers with the surname Cömertoğlu, who have investments in Alanya, also featured highly in the income tax rankings. Yıldırım Cömertoğlu came fourth with a tax liability of 77 million 383 thousand 757 lira, whilst Tolga Cömertoğlu came fifth with 74 million 328 thousand 590 lira.
Egemen Cömertoğlu came eighth with a tax liability of 36 million 703 thousand 695 lira, whilst Alper Cömertoğlu came ninth with a tax liability of 36 million 553 thousand 242 lira.
Fraport TAV tops the corporate tax list
In the corporate tax list, Fraport TAV Antalya Terminal Operations Inc. topped the list with a tax liability of 2 billion 220 million 73 thousand lira. Polen Tourism Investments Inc. came second with 538 million 596 thousand 607 lira, whilst the details of the taxpayer in third place were not disclosed.
Sezer Construction, Hospitality, Tourism, Trade and Industry Inc. ranked fourth with a liability of 321 million 165 thousand 47 lira. Karamancı Tourist Facilities Inc. came fifth with a liability of 268 million 276 thousand 141 lira.
