According to forecasts by the 4th Regional Directorate of Meteorology, the likelihood of rain in Antalya will increase between 12.00 and 18.00 on Wednesday 7 October; with thunderstorms expected in some districts, including Alanya, Gazipaşa and Manavgat. In central Antalya, partly cloudy conditions and temperatures ranging from 17 to 28 degrees are expected.
It is forecast that rainfall will be more limited across the city in the morning. The map for the afternoon indicates showers and thunderstorms in many areas, particularly in the western and eastern districts of Antalya province.
Rainfall forecast by district
Thunderstorms are forecast for Akseki, Alanya, Demre, Finike, Gazipaşa, Gündoğmuş, İbradı, Kaş, Manavgat and Serik. Light rain and showers are forecast for Kumluca, whilst showers are forecast for Kemer.
In Antalya city centre, as well as in Aksu, Belek, Döşemealtı, Elmalı, Kepez and Korkuteli, the weather is expected to be mostly partly cloudy.
According to the Meteorological Office’s five-day forecast, partly cloudy and occasionally rainy weather is expected to continue in the city on 8 October, whilst temperatures are forecast to rise again in the following days.
