Despite the downpour that began on the morning of 2 October 2026 in Antalya and continued into the afternoon, foreign tourists visited the Lower Düden Waterfall. According to data from the General Directorate of Meteorology, the temperature in the city dropped to 22 degrees.

Visitors from different age groups gathered in large numbers along the footpaths and viewing points surrounding the area where the Düden Stream plunges into the sea from cliffs approximately 40 metres high.

Whilst some tourists sheltered from the rain with umbrellas, others continued their visits wearing their hoods. Visitors walking through the green spaces admired the view from the vantage points.

Tourists captured the moments when the waterfall plunged into the sea on their mobile phones and cameras. Visitors also took souvenir photos and selfies in front of the waterfall and the cliffs stretching along the coast.

The hustle and bustle continued out at sea too. Groups arriving by boat approached as close as possible to the point where the water meets the sea and found themselves amidst the spray created by the waterfall.

Surrounded by footpaths, seating areas and green spaces, the Aşağı Düden Waterfall lies on the route of sightseeing boats and welcomes thousands of tourists throughout the summer.
